Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (Dryobates minor)

Once I was hunting for Blue tits, when I heard a subtle noise coming from a pine tree, for a while I wasn’t able to locate source of it then small movement uncovered this the Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. Before this meeting I didn’t even know this kind of bird exists. I think that this element of surprise has attracted me the most. On daily basis I didn’t notice how many beautiful kinds of birds are in the closest surrounding.
